Dear student,

1) Interstitial fluid is a type of extra cellular fluid . It is present in between the tissues in interstitial spaces. It contains plasma and trans-cellular fluids.

2) Intraocular fluid- is the watery fluid present in the anterior and posterior chambers of the eye. It is secreted in the posterior chambers and then passes through the pupil into the anterior chamber from where it finally reabsorbed into the venous system by way of the sinus venosus of the sclera.

3) Intrapleural fuid  - is the fluid which surrounds the lungs and lies in the thin space between the lung pleura and the chest wall pleura.

4) The heart is surrounded a double membrane, the space these membranes is filled with the pericardial fluid. It acts as a shock absorber and protects the heart from damage.

5) Peritoneal fluid is a fluid made in the abdominal cavity which lubricates the surface of tissue that lines the abdominal wall and pelvic cavity.
