For M:
Protons = 12
Mass Number = 25
Neutrons = 25-12 = 13
Electrons = 12 - 2 = 10 (12 electrons and 2 are donated to form M2+ cation)

For N:
Neutrons = 17
Electrons = 14 (These electrons after gaining 3 electrons forming N3- anion i.e., 11+3)
Protons = 14-3 =11
Mass Number = 11+17 = 28

So, p= 10, q= 11, r= 13, s= 28.
Option D is correct
