please describe metre and kilogram along with their definition

Metre the fundamental unit of length in the metric system.

1 metre =100 cm =39.37 inches.

Kilogram is the fundamental unit of mass.(SI unit)
1 kg =1000 g = 2.205 lb (pounds)
It is also the length of the path travelled by light in vacuum during a time interval of 1/299792458 of a second.
