{Please don't provide any weblink or certified answer... I want only experts answer} ALSO PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT THIS IS OF MY GRADE  ... QUESTION:-

Solve by providing solution for the following:-

  • Statement 1: The difference between the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is less than the length of the third side.

Experts, I am not saying the below statement 2 ,,, I just want the proof for the statement 1. So, don't confuse while giving the proof. Also, I already know that proof for the statement 2.

  • Statement 2: The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the length of the third side.

Hi,

Also we can prove using statement 2:

Let ABC be a triangle having sides AB, BC and CA.

We know that the sum of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side.

∴ AB + BC > CA

⇒AB > CA – BC

This shows that difference of two sides is less than the third side of the triangle.

Similarly, we can  prove it for other sides as well.
