Please explain line since moses to soil erosion.....

Since mosses form dense mats on the soil, they reduce the impact of falling rain and prevent soil erosion. The bryophytes are divided into liverworts and mosses.

Dear Student

The mosses and liverworts prevent soil erosion by binding to the soil and keeping it together, thus preventing soil erosion. They appear like a mat on the forest floor due their dense growth on the ground and thereby reducing the impact of rain water directly falling on the soil particles.
