Please explain option (2) in  detail.

Dear Student,

since both the cube have equal surface area then the radiation absorbed is equal but the rise in temp is different the temp of the hollow rise faster as it has less mass and both have equal radiation.since absorption is depend upon the temp difference so initially the temperature difference is same but as the time passes the temp difference for the hollow one become smaller and that for solid one is larger . therfore the rate of absorption of heat is lesser in hollow one after some time.
option B is correct.
