The reaction between Sodium Chromate and  Sulphuric acid is given as:
 
2 Na2CrO4​ +  H2​SO4​ → Na2Cr2​O7 + H​​​2O +  Na2​SO4
 
CrO42- (chromate ion) is yellow in colour. When it is oxidized by H+ in Cr2O72-​(dichromate ion), the colour changes to orange.
 
Therefore, option (a) is correct.
