2Fe + 3H2OFe2O3 +3H2according to the equation - 2 moles of Fe produces 1 mole of Fe2O3thus, 6 moles of Fe should produce 3 mole of Fe2O31 mole of Fe=56g thus, 6 moles of Fe =6x56 = 336g

Your answer was correct. Notice, in the question mass of iron corresponding to 3 moles of its oxide was asked, whereas in the given solution, they have solved for 12 moles of the same; hence, double the answer.
