Please explain why not alpha globulin?

Dear student

Option A is correct.
There is one group of gamma globulins called immunoglobulins which are also known as antibodies.
B lymphocytes produce antibodies - proteins (gamma globulins) that recognize foreign substances (antigen) and attach themselves to them. B lymphocytes (or B cells) are each programmed to make one specific antibody.

Alpha globulins are a group of globular proteins in plasma that inhibit certain blood proteases and show significant inhibitor activity.
So as they are engaged in such inhibitory activities, they do not have any role towards immune response.
