- Babur could not get time to consolidate his conquests in India.
- He distributed money and treasures lavishly among his nobles and soldiers which created financial difficulties for the empire.
- So, when Humayun inherited an unstable and bankrupt empire from his father with an empty treasury, he found it difficult to consolidate his fathers conquest.
