please help me in write a diary entry on how I feel on first day in school

Dear Diary

Today was my first day in the new school. I was very nervous and upset while I was getting ready in the morning as I was not willing to change my school. But, due to papa's transfer I had to do it as there was no other option left for me. I was missing my friends and my school a bit too much in the morning. I was not being able to talk to my new classmates. But as the day passed by, I realised that all the students and even the teachers were very friendly and cooperative. They showed me their notebooks to see the work done till date and even came to share their lunch with me during the break. I was really overwhelmed by the warm welcome that I received in the school. On the first day only I was able to make many new friends. It was the most memorable day of my life.
