Q.9. Rate of basmati rice last year was Rs. 40 a kg. This year they are costly by 20%. What is the price this year?

Cost of basmati rice this year= Rs 40 per kg
Price incresed by 20%
Cost of basmati rice this year= ?

20% of 40
20   x 40 = 8 Rs
100

So, Cost of basmati rice this year= 40+8 = 48 Rs
