Please help me

Dear Student,
  • HCl gas is highly soluble in water and the reaction is extremely exothermic.Direct absorption of hydrogen chloride gas in water is not feasible as this may lead to an explosion due to the heat produced when the water comes in contact with the HCl gas.
  • Since the reaction of hydrogen chloride gas with water is highly exothermic reaction,a safe method for dissolving HCl gas in water is the use of an inverted funnel. So,funnel arrangement is done to dissolve hydrogen chloride gas in water.
