​Chemistry to me was formulas and balancing equations - talked about bonds and numbers. It always amused me how one could remember all the elements in the table and forever I seemed lost. But a recent visit to the lab left me more puzzled. Stacked on the shelves were chemicals- some were concentrated some were less dangerous. A little curiosity was given birth in my mind - the sight of test tubes excited me and I got hold of one bottle of transparent liquid. I asked myself ' What if I turn into a scientist? What if I find a new element? I quickly mixed chemicals from a couple of bottles. The end result? Did I turn into a scientist on this fine morning? I dont remember. But I know where I am today - lying on the hospital bed hoping the medicines would heal my wounds. Did I become a scientist? I dont think so. But I surely attainted a new position - out the portal of my school! It was definitely a visit to the lab that is etched clearly in my mind.
