Dear Student

Aneuploidy is the condition when the organisms have either extra or missing chromosome from the diploid set of chromosomes. It can be referred to as 2n-1, 2n+1, 2n-2.

The organisms having genetic constitution as 2n + 1 (having an extra chromosome )are called trisomics and the condition is called trisomy.
Example of Trisomic condition: Down's syndrome

Triploid means there is a three set of chromosomes containing 69 chromosomes in a nucleus, thus such a condition is called as Triploid condition.
