21 The tap in the garden was closed in appropriately resulting in the water flowing freely out of it which
forms a downward narrowing beam. The beam of water has a circular cross-section, the diameter of
the circle is 6 mm at one point and 3 cm below it is only 3 mm as shown in figure. If the rate of water
wasted is (x x n) mL/minute then find the value of x. (Neglect the effect of viscosity and surface
tension of the flowing water.)
