Dear Student, In a nephron, blood flows through glomerulus under great pressure. The reason for this pressure is that efferent arteriole(outgoing) of nephron is generally narrower than afferent arteriole(incoming). The high pressure causes liquid part of blood to filter out from the glomerulus into Bowman's Capsule. Regards
