Please solve question no 8 and 9

Dear Student,
The following is solution to Q8.
Angle C of right angled triangle ABC is the right angle.
Hence, side AB is the hypotenuse.
As per Pythagoras Theorem,
AB2=AC2+CB2AB=13 cm and AC=5cmThus,132=52+CB2i.e CB2=169-25=144i.e CB=12 cm (Taking positive square root since length cannot be negative)
