Please solve question no.b.i and ii.

i. Tonicity of solutions in test tube A, B and C are- Hypotonic, isotonic and hypertonic.

ii. When kept in a hypertonic solution, the RBCs shrink as a result of the loss of water. This stage is known as Crenation. 
Crenation is the contraction of animal cells when placed in a hypertonic solution. This is due to the expelling of water from the cell into the medium.
