Please solve question no.c.

Dear Student,

(i) When dilute HCl is added to lead nitrate solution, a white precipitate of lead chloride is formed.
Pb(NO3)2 + 2HCl --> PbCl2 + 2 HNO3
On heating, precipitate gets dissolved and a clear solution is obtained as lead chloride is fairly soluble in water.

(ii) When dilute HCl reacts with sodium thiosulphate then a yellow precipitate of sulphur is formed. The solution becomes turbid due to formation of colloidal sulphur. At the starting of reaction both the solutions are clear but as the reaction proceeds the solution develops opacity.
The balanced equation is as follows-
Na2S2O3+ 2HCl2NaCl +S +SO2+H2O
Regards!
