- People have no role in the decision making- Non-democratic. In a democratic country each and every citizen of the country has a role in decision making. Voting is one of the example where majority of people decides who the leader will be, so like this citizens do have a role in decision making in a democratic country.
- People could not choose or change their leaders- Non- democratic. In a democratic country people have right to vote and they can choose or change their leaders.
- The rulers are accountable to the people and fulfill their needs- Democratic. The rulers that are elected "by the people" are responsible to fulfill the needs "of the people".
- There is no freedom of expression and people do not enjoy fundamental rights.- Non- democratic. Countries like North Korea and Saudi Arabia are the ones where people do not have freedom of expression and they do not have any fundamental rights. They just have to follow what there king says and orders.
- One person,One vote, One value system- Democratic. In democracy a person have an authority to give only one vote and there is one value system.
- Governments of India and USA- Democratic. Both India and USA are democratic countries.
- Governments of Saudi Arabia and North Korea- Non-democratic. Both Saudi and North Korea are non- democratic countries.
