25.   A sound is produced at one end of a long steel rail. Two distinct sounds are observed on the other end of this rail. Why ? The time gap between these sounds is found to be 0.35 second. What is the length of the rail ? Speed of sound in air = 330  m   s - 1 . Speed of sound in steel = 5100 m   s - 1 .
