But looking on closely both the wires of the loop have current in the same direction therefore magnetic force will be in the same direction so here is the solution.
Force on straight wire F1 = IBL1 SIn(900) = (L1 is the Diameter= 2m)
F1 = 4 N
Force on the semicircular wire F2 = IBL2 SIn(900) = (L2 is the the "projected length" which is equal to the diameter= 2m)
F2 = 4 N
So ; Net force Fnet = F1 + F2 = 8N
Therefore the ans is option (2).
