Dear Student,

1- The law of reflection states that when a light ray is incident on a plane surface, the incident ray, the reflected ray and the “normal” to the surface of the mirror all lie in the same plane.
It also states that the angle the incident ray makes with the normal is equal to the angle that the reflected ray makes with the normal.


here i= angle of incident 
r= angle of reflection 

So option b is correct.

3-  The image formed by a plane mirror is virtual, erect, laterally inverted, behind the mirror and of the same size as that of the object. The left side of the object appears on the right side of the image. Also, the distance of the image from the plane mirror is same as the distance between the plane mirror and the object. 

So option b is correct.
