Dear Student 3dz2 has no nodal palne but a conic nodal surface as shown in the figure

The grey portion shows the nodal surface Similarly for 3dâ€‹x2-y2,

A plane passing through the z-axis and bisecting the x and y-axis is the nodal palne for this Hope this helps! Regards
