Dear Student,
(i) Load arm = 0.2 m
(ii) effort arm = 0.2+0.4 = 0.6 m
(iii) M.A = effort arm/ load arm = 0.6 /0.2 = 3
(iv) Effort x effort arm = load x load arm
or , Effort = (0.2 x 300) / 0.6 = 100 N
Regards
