Plot the points A(1,1), B(0,-2), C(2,-1), D(4,0) and E(0,-3). Identify the points which are collinear. Name the intersecting lines. In which quadrant the point of intersection lies .

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

We plot given points  A ( 1 , 1 ) , B ( 0 , - 2 ) , C ( 2 , - 1 ) ,  D ( 4 , 0 ) and E ( 0 , - 3 ) on a graph , As :

Here we can see that point : B ( 0 , - 2 ) , C ( 2 , - 1 ) and D ( 4 , 0 ) are collinear ( As we consider more than two points to show points are collinear )

And

Intersecting lines =  BD and  AE as they meet at ' M ' and we can see that point ' M '  lies on IV quadrant .                     ( Ans )
