Pls answer second question

Q. Explain:- But promises like more abound in every corner of bleak word.

Dear Student,
The author asked Saheb about going to school and he told that there was no school in his locality. Saheb tells that he would go to school when they build one. Half jokingly, the author asked whether he would come to school if she plans to start one. Saheb smiles and agrees to come. After a few days, Saheb ran upto the author and asks her if the school was ready. The author really felt embarrassed as she had made a promise that was not meant.

As the author Anees Jung had made a fake promise to Saheb , from this line she wanted to explain that such fake promises are made everyday in every corner of the world . Morever these promise made by some rich and rude people are rarely kept . These promises made are generally thoughtless suggestions which are never meant to be fulfilled . Many politicians make such fake promises to gain votes and many rich people to make fun of poor people who are subjected to a life full of poverty and exploitation .
