Pls explain me: cards marked with numbers 1,3,5....101 are placed in a box and mixed thoroughly.one card is drawn at random from the box.find the p(that the number on the drawn card is i)divisible by 5 ii)a perfect square iii)a prime number less than 30).

Total numbers, n(S)= Total odd numbers from 1 to 101=50+1=51

(i) The odd numbers divisible by 5 from 1 to 131 are,

5,15,25,35,45,55,65,75,85,95

So, n(A)=10

So P(A)= 10/51

(ii) Perfect squares among the given numbers are,

1,9,25,49,81

So, n(A)-=5

So, P(A)=5/51

(iii) Prime numbers less than 30 among the given numbers are,

3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29

So, n(A)=9

So, P(A)=9/51
