Pls explain this rule of subject verb agreement :When any one of the subjects joined by or/nor is plural, thepluralsubject is placed next to the verb and the verb takes apluralform.
If 'neithernor/or' expresses an alternative between two choices, the verb takes the form of the closest alternative. For example: Neither Reema nor any of the girls are going to the market.
If the plural subject is placed next to the verb, the verb takes a plural form. For example:
Neither the teacher nor the girls have finished their work.
Ramesh or his boys are making this loud noise.
