Pls guys ....

Answer to my question..........

Why the ray passing from the centre of curvature retraces it's path????

##Dont cheat from the internet##

Pls give me answer fast as I am having my exam.........

Because as the ray of light passes through the centre of curvature of concave mirror it strikes the mirror along the normal that is it indicates on the mirror at 90 degree . Hence the incident ray coincides with the normal therefore angle of incidence=0 as we know according to the law of reflection angle of reflection =0 hence the angle of reflection too becomes zero degree thus a ray of light retraces it's path.

The incident ray strikes or incident normally on the spherical mirror. Since its angle of incidence is 0 therefore the angle of reflection will also be 0 and the ray of light retraces its path
