Dear student,
Abscissa: The value of x-coordinate of a point.
Ordinate: The value of y-coordinate of a point.

The negative Abscissa means a negative value of x i.e., points lying to left side of Y-axis.
The points with negative abscissa are point B, point C.

The positive ordinate is the positive value of y which are the points lying above X-axis.
The points with positive ordinate is point C.
