ARRANGE THE THREE CHARGES +q , -q,  +q USING THE DISTANCE r  ,  2r,  2r TO GET A SYSTEM WITH ZERO POTENTIAL ENERGY

Hello everyone,
The potential energy will be zero for the following configuration of potential energy:

Adding them we get potential energy of the system to be zero.

This is possible only when the +q & +q are at distance r and q is at a distance 2r from both +q & +q.
 
Hence, the charges are placed at the vertices of an isosceles triangle as shown above.
