pls provide the difference between motive and motivator with the help of an example

Motive is a force within the individual that compels him to do or not to do something in a certain way. Motivator is a person or a thing that induces people to take a desired course of action.

For example- Teacher is a motivator who inspire students to achieve good marks.
                       Money is a motivator that induces workers to work hard.
