8. A pie is cut into 10 equal sectors. Find the measure of the central angle of one slice of pie. 

10. An topic outdoor archery target is made up of 10 equally spaced concentric circles. If the diameter of the biggest ring on the target is 122 cm and the diameter of the bullseye is 12.2 cm, what is the diameter of the fourth ring from the inside?

8) As pie is cut into 10 PCs.
The central angle of one slice of pie = 360°Nos of cut pcs

=360°10 = 36°


10)
There are 9 gaps between the 1st (innermost) circle and the 10th circle.
The distance between each circle is therefore
= (radius of 10th circle - radius of 1st circle)/9  
= (61 - 6.1)/9
= 6.1 cm
 
There are 3 of these gaps between the 1st and 4th circles,
hence radius of 4th circle
= 6.1 + 3*6.1 = 24.4 cm,

so the diameter of the 4th circle is 48.8 cm.
