Plz answer me

Dear Student,

The answer is option C) Evaporation, diffusion and expansion of gases.

Evaporation, diffusion and expansion of gases increase on raising the temperature.
1.Evaporation

When the temperature increases, kinetic energy of the molecules will increase. Thus they will move faster. They leave the surface of the liquid and go into the vapour state quickly.
2.Diffusion

Diffusion is the process wherein the molecules merge as a result of their kinetic energy of random motion. When the temperature increases, kinetic energy of the molecules will increase. As a result , the collision rate of molecules increases and diffusion increases.
3.Expansion of gases

When the temperature increases, kinetic energy of the molecules will increase. As a result, the molecules move more rapidly and try to occupy more space. When the temperature decreases, their rate of motion decreases and they tend to compress.Hence expansion of gases is directly proportional to increase in temperature and compression of gases is indirectly proportional to increase in temperature.

Solubility decrease with temperature.
An increase in temperature causes an increase in kinetic energy. Thus molecules move rapidly. It will break intermolecular bonds which enable molecules to escape from the solution. allowing the gases dissolved to evaporate more readily. Hence causing decrease in the solubility of gases in liquids.
