Alkyl halides undergo hydrolysis more easily than aryl halide because alkyl halide is sp3 hybridised which is more easy to break than sp2 which is the case of aryl halide.
In alkyl halide all bonds are single and the s-character in only 25% (In sp3) but in case of aryl halide due to presence of double bond in benzene ring the bond is much stronger ( s-character is also 33% in sp2).
