Alkyl halides undergo hydrolysis more easily than aryl halide because alkyl halide is sp3 hybridised which is more easy to break than sp2​ which is the case of aryl halide.
In alkyl halide all bonds are single and the s-character in only 25% (In sp3) but in case of aryl halide due to presence of double bond in benzene ring the bond is much stronger ( s-character is also 33% in sp2).
