plz answer this question :- How is the band gap , E_g , of a photodiode related to the maximum wavelength A_m ( lambda _m ) that can be detected by it ?

we know that the energy-wavelength relation is given as

E = hc / λ

so, in case of a photodiode, E would be the energy gap while λ would be the maximum wavelength (A_m)

thus, we have

E = hc / A_m
