Plz answer.....this two questions
1. Land is a natural resource of utmost importance because
a. it is on land that we live and work.
b. land is required for agriculture and to obtain food.
2. Net sown area is the total land area that is sown with crops in a year. Gross cropped area is the area sown with crops once or more in a year. The difference is that if a particular piece of land is sown twice a year, then it will be counted twice in the gross cropped area. But it will be counted only once in the net sown area.
One positive area of land use pattern in our country is that the land is intensively cultivated due to high population pressure. One negative feature is the excessive use of chemical fertilizers.
