Plz answers these questions

Dear Student

1. The primary function of mitochondria is to perform cellular respiration. When a cell respires, the energy is produced in the form of ATP by mitochondria.

2. Functions of golgi apparatus are:

It involves the transport of lipids in cells.

It involves the formation of lysosomes.

It also takes part in glycosylation and phosphorylation of certain proteins.

3. Functions of lysosomes:

  • They digest macromolecules by phagocytosis, endocytosis, or autophagy

  • They also take part in auto-cell lysis.

    4. Ribosomes play a very major role in protein synthesis. It acts as a site of protein synthesis.

    5. Centrosome is one of the cell organelles found only in an animal cell, whose main function is to help the cell in cell division. Actually, when the cell decides to divide, the centrosome helps in the formation of spindles. In plants, this function is performed by Polar caps.
