plz............... explain me participle clause.

eg:1.the girl sat on the bench.she read a book.

     2.they are vegetarians,they don't eat meat.

     3.the boy was beat by his freind.cried a lot.

Participle clauses, just like relative clauses gives us more information. 

For example:

The girl wearing red shoes walked the ramp.

Here, it is indicated that the girl who was wearing red shoes walked the ramp.
