Mr. Gessler was a German shoemaker. He was perfect in the art of shoemaking and believed in quality. He only made what was ordered and what he made never failed to fit. The boots he made also lasted for long. He loved shoemaking and it was as if he lived in a dream of boots. Mr. Gessler was proud of his boots. According to Mr. Gessler big firms did not have self respect and they get the business by advertisements and not by work. He chose quality over mass production and never advertised his items. He ended up losing his trade. Even though he was a craftsman par excellence, he had poor business sense.
