Dear student,

Kindly recheck the question: it should be 'boys', not 'voice'.

The narrator says that present day boys have forgotten the traditional practices. He describes the 'namaskara' of present day boys, â€‹saying that they do it " with their head up towards the sun, standing stiff like a pole without joints, jerking their body as if it were either a wand or a walking stick". Sometimes, they would merely fold their hands. Ranga was different in this aspect, because his 'namaskara' was performed in the traditional way, by bending low and touching the narrator's feet. Ranga greeted the narrator with great respect in a traditional manner.
