plzz make me understand this:- fungus is a Kingdom and algae comes in phylum thallophyta. but their symbiotic relation ship comes in kingdom monera. why?? plzz any biology expert answer.... no spamming plzzzz

Classification of lichen is a matter of speculation. It comprises fungi and algae, both of which belongs to two different kingdoms. But the dominant partner is fungi. Hence, lichens are studied under kingdom fungi. 
The other partner which is algae could be from kingdom Protista or from Kingdom Monera (cyanobacteria).
