plzzzzz explain me - mansabdari , muqtis , jagir , watan jagir  ......... i can't understand what is given in the book

Mansabdari- The term mansabdar was derived from mansab meaning rank. Thus, it denoted a rank holder. They were aristocrats who received land for maintaining their soldiers. Their ranks were decided by the number of soldiers they commanded. These soldiers were used for the campaigns of their masters who were the Mughal rulers. The mansabdars were paid in either cash or through revenue of the land which they were granted. Their ranks were not hereditary.

Muqtis were holders of territories known as iqtas. The system was prevalent during the time of Delhi Sultanate. The muqti was authorised to collect revenue and taxes from the iqta. He had to maintain troops and furnish them to the Sultan when required. The iqtas were transferable in nature.

Jagir was a territory granted by a ruler to an army commander for a stipulated period of time. The jagirdar was entitled to the revenue of the region for maintenance of his troops.

Watan jagirs were assigned to local zamindars or rajas and were hereditary and non-transferable in nature. Many Rajput princes were also the recipients of such jagirs from the Mughals.
