Positive externality or negative one- the pollination of surrounding crops by bees kept for honey.

Dear student,
This is a positive externality because the third party (crops) are being benefited due to the pollination by bees. Bees which are kept for honey benefits the crops by pollinating them.

A consequence of an industrial or commercial activity which affects other parties without this being reflected in market prices, such as the pollination of surrounding crops by bees kept for honey. 'But ASI forgets that economic activity produces externalities; real costs to third parties.
