Positive impact on child labour

Dear Student,
Child labour in any means is an offens to society and should not be encouraged, no matter what. However, a few positive impact of child labour are:
- In developing and under-developed countries, where parents can't afford to earn enough for the family, the children are sent to work which provide an additional income to the family.
- Children who otherwise couldn't have afforded to live in a healthy environment, go to school or get sufficient food for survival, get to live a better life when they work at a good place.
- In some countries, children above a certain age work to pay for their education. (This however doesn't come under the category of child labour.)

Hope this clears your doubts regarding this topic.

Regards

To this end, child labour may have a net positive effect both on the child and other family members. In developing countries, the empirical evidence on the effect of child labour on education and health is mixed. Most children only work part-time, which means school and labour are not mutually exclusive.
