PQRS is an isoceles trapezium. Lines are drawn joining R and S to the midpoint E of PQ. What triangle is RES? Why?

Dear student

In an isosceles trapezium parallel sides are equal in length and both anglescoming from a parallel side are equal.So, In PES and QERPS=QRPE=EQ    E is a mid-point of PQand P=QSo, PES~QER    By SAS ruleThus, ES=ERSo,RES is an isosceles.
