Prejudice against the traditional use of forest areas has no basis.
Explain the sentence with suitable example.

Dear Student,

The statement that the prejudice against the traditional use of forest areas has no basis can be explained by grasses growing in the great Himalayan national park. Before the formation of this park alpine meadows were used by shepherds for grazing their sheep. This practice helped in keeping the forest grass at a controllable height. However after the formation of this park shepherds were prevented the entry in the alpine meadows in reserved areas which caused the grass there to be long which subsequently prevents the fresh growth of grass.
