Problems faced by fishermen in India
Dear Student,
a. People in rural areas are engaged in primary activities like farming and fishing.
b. Fishing families had to take loan to buy engines to be fixed on to the catamaran used for catching fish
c. They set out in the sea early morning to catch fish.
d. The fish which is sold money from selling fish is divided among the people who went on fishing, which does not give them a good share
e. Fisherman cannot go out for fishing during monsoon.
f. That time they are dependent on traders.
g. Thy are largely effected in lean season.
h. Then changes in the environment has also impacted availability of fish
i. There are dangers attached to the fishermen , in terms of unforeseen incident and also danger of entering international waters.
